Unique Hotel Group Ace Hotels Selects IDeaS Revenue Management System

02/17/09: IDeaS Revenue Optimization, the leading provider of hospitality revenue management and optimization solutions and services, today announced that Ace Hotels has chosen IDeaS unique forecasting and pricing tools to ensure increased profitability in a competitive marketplace.

With existing properties in Portland and Seattle, this unique hotel group is expanding its portfolio. Upon opening in April, Ace Hotels’ New York and Palm Springs properties will deploy IDeaS V5i On-Demand revenue management solution equipped with forecasting capabilities, the Best Available Rate (BAR) module and Group Pricing Module. IDeaS BAR module will assist Ace Hotels in selecting the optimal rate with the highest probability of selling based on the arrival date and length of stay. This allows them to adjust pricing decisions for their unqualified guest and capture the best rate for hotel profitability. IDeaS Group Pricing Module is designed to help Ace Hotels evaluate group requests, analyze displaced revenues, find alternative dates and include ancillary revenues and costs for a total value assessment.
