The Technical Project Manager is responsible for the successful coordination and management of the development and delivery of IDeaS solutions. The job will focus on IDeaS product line releases, updates and services within new and existing vertical markets. This person will work with internal and external clients in project definition, monitoring, risk identification and mitigation.
Essential Job Responsibilities

Manage solution and product release projects by scoping, creating and updating project plans, continually monitoring and documenting project activities and communicating project status and changes.

Communicates project status to stakeholders and management.

Provides presentations on projects (e.g. scope, deliverables and schedule) as requested.

Uses appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to work effectively with business partners (e.g. peers, functional partners, cross-sector partners, matrixed partners, external vendors, etc.) to meet mutual goals and objectives.

Organizes and manages assigned projects in light of department, division, and corporate priorities and goals.

Create, maintain and use project templates within MS Project.

Set, plan and meet clear objectives and project deadlines for multiple simultaneous client and partner specific projects.

Daily management, task setting and monitoring of project team, working closely with all members including internal and external, technical and business team members.

Stays abreast of new technologies and informs management when new technologies impact or should impact current and future project plans.

Resolves problems with minimal management assistance, escalates appropriately

Create progress reports on a consistent basis for executive team.

Take proactive action to address misalignments, miscommunications, and differences among each of the project teams.

Promote team spirit and teamwork culture.

Respond to Request for Proposals (RFPs) with sense of urgency in regards to planning, communicating and executing.

Performs other duties, as assigned.
Essential Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

5+ years of related project management experience in the field of Software Development

Successful management of multiple simultaneous software development projects from inception to completion

Stellar verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills for interaction across functions, cultures and business levels

Keen understanding of the interrelationship between project tasks in a software solution development to assess potential risks and outcomes

Work is typically performed in an office environment, using simple, easy muscular movements, involving only the handling of light materials, tools, or equipment in easy work positions, and with no special speed requirements or long stretches of exertion.
